Body discovered in Cedros
Homicide detectives were last night investigating the death of Dexter Boodoo, whose body was found in the sand off Galfar Road, Cedros. The discovery was made after noon by Boodoo’s relatives. His father, Gary Cooper, of Bonasse Village, Cedros immediately alerted the police. He said Boodoo, aged 30 was last seen alive on Tuesday.
Searches were made for him but it was only yesterday that relatives found him dead. A bottle filled with kerosene was found near Boodoo’s body which was viewed by a District Medical Officer who ordered it removed to the San Fernando mortuary. An autopsy is scheduled to be done today. Investigations are continuing.
