The first six accused were arrested on January 7 by officers from the Fraud Squad and subsequently charged by Sgt Ramdhanie Dipchand. Raphael told them to get their respective houses in order for their bail to be regularised. Attorney Ian Brooks is representing Williams, Augustin and Fraser; Shalini Kahn is representing Lutchman and Francois; John Heath is representing Hung and Lemuel Murphy is representing Davis (K) and Davis (A). State prosecutor Jayanti Lutchmedial is representing the state. The group will reappear on Wednesday as the matter was put for mention.
