A 25-year-old woman, accused of murdering her former boyfriend, will go on trial today. Kimmy Mitchell, of Valencia, yesterday pleaded not guilty when she was arraigned before a jury empanelled in the Port-of-Spain Second Court. Justice Anthony Carmona is presiding. The victim, Keron Williams, 20, of Quare Road, Valencia, was stabbed to death during an altercation with a female friend on May 17, 2006. Mitchell is represented by attorney Larry Williams. Kathy Ann Waterman-Latchoo and Lee Merry are prosecuting. The prosecution is expected to open its case today.
