Told that Point Fortin MP Paula Gopee-Scoon had in­di­cat­ed their in­ten­tion to re-build on the present site, she not­ed that no soil test­ing was done there and they could not re­ly on site vi­su­als. Bap­tiste-Cor­nelis al­so re­vealed that they had been meet­ing with sev­er­al stake­hold­ers to de­ter­mine the fea­si­bil­i­ty of build­ing a ramp which would con­nect the San Fer­nan­do Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal (SFGH) to the Chancery Lane Com­plex, us­ing it as a de­cant­i­ng area. Since con­struc­tion stopped last year, the com­plex had been a haven for home­less peo­ple and crim­i­nals.
