Symp­toms in­clude headache, fever, se­vere mus­cle and joint pains, swollen glands and rash.Dengue haem­or­rhag­ic fever is a more se­vere form of the vi­ral ill­ness and can be life threat­en­ing.Be­sides the symp­toms of dengue, haem­or­rhag­ing may oc­cur. Bleed­ing of gums, blood in stool and vom­it­ing are pos­si­ble.Dengue and dengue haem­or­rhag­ic fever are not con­ta­gious.
