Police have charged two suspects with the murder of "PH" driver Nigel Huggins, a week after he was hijacked and stabbed to death at Brothers Road, Tabaquite.The suspects, aged 20 and 30, of Loney Road, Indian Walk, Princes Town, and Dolly Street, Marabella, respectively, were charged over the weekend with Huggins' murder.The charges were laid by Cpl Ramdhan, of the Rio Claro Police Station, after instructions from the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Both men are accused of hijacking Huggins as he worked on the Realise Road, Princes Town, route.Huggins was hijacked and forced to drive to a location. It is believed that Huggins put up a struggle and was stabbed. He lost control of the car which crashed. Huggins was seen stumbling out of the car. He collapsed in a drain on Brothers Road, Tabaquite and died. (RS)
