Party will pay CNMG says Ford
The Opposition PNM is obligated to pay its $600,000 debt owed to state-owned CNMG once this is verified, according to PNM general secretary Ashton Ford. Ford was commenting yesterday, after PP Minister Colin Partap’s disclosure on Tuesday in the Senate that the PNM owed CNMG $600,000 for ads and coverage of political rallies from the 2010 election. “We’re obligated to pay, but it’s strange that all these other people and agencies were cited as owing also, but only the PNM was singled out for specific mention by Government.” (GA)
