The PNM's Pen­ne­lope Beck­les-Robin­son and Lau­rel Leza­ma-Lee Sing have been elect­ed in­to key po­si­tions in the 2011-2012 con­stituen­cy elec­tions. The elec­tions, held on Jan­u­ary 24, were billed "Ari­ma Is PNM Coun­try," a re­lease said yes­ter­day. The con­stituen­cy elec­tion was host­ed by Er­ic Tay­lor (Pink Pan­ther).

In at­ten­dance were PNM stal­wart Fer­die Fer­reira, area co-or­di­na­tor Sen­a­tor Dr Lester Hen­ry and chair­man of the To­co/San­gre Grande Con­stituen­cy Cuth­bert Pierre. The an­nu­al PNM con­stituen­cy con­fer­ence will be held on Sun­day at the Ari­ma Town Hall. The fea­ture speak­er will be the par­ty's po­lit­i­cal leader Dr Kei­th Row­ley.
