A six-member delegation from the Canadian branch of the Commonwealth Parliament is expected in T&T today for a five-day visit.This is according to a release from the Parliament of T&T yesterday.The visit is intended increase collaboration between the branches of the Caribbean, Americas and Atlantic Region and the Canadian branch of the CPA.
The delegation, led by MP Russ Hiebert, is expected to pay courtesy calls on President George Maxwell Richards, Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar, Senate President Timothy Hamel-Smith and Speaker of the House of Representatives Wade Mark.It will also meet with Trade Minister Stephen Cadiz, Tourism Minister Dr Rupert Griffith and the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers Association.
