The move to re­vive it was spear­head­ed by Sergeants Siew and Ram­pat of the Bar­rack­pore Po­lice Sta­tion.The law­men saw the need for the resur­gence of the group to help curb crime in the area.They are al­so part­ner­ing with var­i­ous com­mu­ni­ty coun­cils from the area in­clud­ing Coryal, Tin Pan Al­ley, Val­ley Line, Oropouche/ Jaipauls­ingh, Re­ece Road, Strange, Re­al­ize and Low­er Bar­rack­pore Com­mu­ni­ty.The Coun­cil hopes to in­clude St Mary's Po­lice Post and the Moru­ga Po­lice Sta­tion.
