Sylvia Salina, one spokesperson for the farmers, complained that the cutlass wielding men who chased farmers and members of the media remain a threat and were still brandishing their weapons on Friday.The police promised patrols throughout the area.Police officers also suggested that farmers and the men who attacked them meet in a cordial manner to resolve their issues. However, the villagers may not agree to that arrangement.The villagers have also called for a police post in the area.
