Minister of the People and Social Development Dr Glenn Ramadharsingh said Browne made it seem as though everything in the country started to break down since the People’s Partnership came into power. He called on Browne to apologise for calling some people foolish. Browne rose to his feet, but Ramadharsingh stopped him. “But I know you won’t,” Ramadharsingh said.

“Low detection rates have been the legacy and the hallmark of a failed administration in this country,” Ramadharsingh said. “We do not distract, we interact, we act.” He said during the former administration’s nine-year reign, they spent $25 billion on crime.
