The Eastman Brothers took top honours in the 2011 Point Fortin Carnival celebrations copping three titles including the $10,000 Band of the Year title. The band, with presentation of People Who Came, also won the Kiddies Carnival competition and Best Female Individual which was played by Tishanna Stoute. Cisco and Associates came in 153 points behind, second. They took home $8,000 with their portrayal of Oriental Fantasy. Anthony Weekes and Associates' depiction of African Warriors finished third with 364 point for the prize of $5000. The title of Best Male Individual of Carnival went to Darius Paul from John Paul and Associates with their presentation of Seasons. Point Fortin RC finished eight points behind the winners in the Kiddies Carnival with a patriotic portrayal of I Is Ah Trini.
Third with 246 points was Point Fortin AC with A Visit To The Caroni Swamp. The Traditional J'Ouvert Mas was won by comedian Damion Melville who finished with 187 points. He took home $1,000 with his display of Crime Have Meh Thinking Blue. Philomen Crichlow made an amusing display of Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar and accumulated 169 points for second. John Paul from the band John Paul and Associates followed up with 162 points for third with their depiction of Ah Trini, with winnings of $500. The Couples category was won by Damion Melville and Gillian Smith for their depiction of Kamla Stop Drink, Jack Warn-Her for the $1500 prize. The Monday Night Jersey Mas title was taken by the crew from the Good, Bad and Ugly Bar with It's All About Wotless. They raked up 280 points and received $2000. The Cap-de-Ville Folk Performers came in 41 points behind as they brightened the streets with their presentation Yellows In Colour for the second prize of $1,500. The Point Fortin Seniors presentation of In De Mas finished in third position with 219 point for $1,000.
