Foreign Affairs Minister Suruj Rambachan says he had better luck locating some nationals who have been affected by the earthquake in Japan. About 30 T&T citizens have been displaced.Interviewed yesterday, Rambachan said: "It has been much better in terms of locating people. Senzai is the area where the earthquake and tsunami were worse.
I don't have a problem. I am feeling much better about having been able to locate them. We have not been able to discuss matters of evacuation."Among his success stories was locating Trincity resident Tenielle Cuffie-who is on the JET programme. Her mother Angela D Cuffie confirmed she was fine and they had gotten a voice mail message from her. She thanked the Minister for his concern and compassion.
