Gosyne had served as chairman of ther CTTRC's Finance Committee. He was also chairman of the United National Congress' La Horquetta/Talparo Constituency.Gosyne was described as "a young man who set a new agenda and created a new paradigm in politics aimed at improving the quality of life for the people of his district and by extension, the people of Trinidad and Tobago."The late Gosyne was involved in community work, social work, cultural and sporting activities.Gosyne, "a real family man," was the husband of Balmati and father of Savita and Neval.
