That matter has since been clarified as simply a typographical error.Dick-Forde said she spent much of her time as minister overhauling the HDC. She said that was done through new policy directives and discussions with the HDC board."What I did was to help the HDC to be better equipped to serve the housing needs of low income citizens," she added.Dick-Forde said during her two-and-a-half-years as minister, she also focused on "its poor financial management and internal audit controls and (that) was never an investigation of a person."She added: "It was more exciting and more bacchanal for the media and others to tell the story differently."
