To compound their woes, Harrikissoon said their office at the corner of Oxford and Edward Streets, Port-of-Spain, was in a "terrible" condition and members of staff are depressed and demoralised over it. "The ceiling is falling apart. For years we have been trying to get a new building," he said. "Workers have reached the end. The situation there is terrible." Nancy Arneaud, the authority's secretary, said they had identified some buildings and the Ministry of Public Administration was working with them to redress this problem.
