TCL hosts seminars on the use of cement

Trinidad Cement Ltd (TCL) recently hosted educational seminars for the Tobago House of Assembly (THA). It was part of the company’s ongoing commitment to ensuring that all users and potential users of its products are enlightened on the proper handling and use of cement. The seminars focused on how to obtain enhanced cement strengths in concrete mixtures.
Both seminars were held at the Division of Infrastructure and Public Utilities at Shaw Park and endorsed by Ray Sandy—THA administrator and Lana Bristol—civil engineer, THA, who opened the sessions and expressed the THA’s gratitude to TCL for sharing knowledge on the Proper Use of Cement in Mix Designs, Use of Water in the Mix, Avoiding Common Problems and the Handling Process. The sessions also featured presentations by Fyal Ghanny of Specialist Chemicals (Trinidad) Ltd.
