Jerome "Love-It" Dar­ber died yes­ter­day, the day of his 12th wed­ding an­niver­sary.Dar­ber, 39, of North Coast Road, Pat­na Vil­lage, was found dead un­der a truck, with his face in a drain, near his house.A re­port said Dar­ber and friends were drink­ing around 1 am. Po­lice said they be­lieved he fell asleep un­der the truck. Passers-by lat­er dis­cov­ered Dar­ber's body, around 6 am.The body was viewed by the dis­trict med­ical of­fi­cer who or­dered it re­moved to the Foren­sic Sci­ence Cen­tre for an au­top­sy.De­tec­tives sus­pect Dar­ber drowned in wa­ter in the drain. They be­lieve he was "drunk."The au­top­sy re­vealed Dar­ber died from drown­ing, a rel­a­tive said.
