A 40-year-old man de­scribed by po­lice as a "pet­ty thief" has been mauled to death by two Rot­tweil­er dogs.The in­ci­dent took place dur­ing a pos­si­ble rob­bery at­tempt on Fri­day.The man, iden­ti­fied as King, was at­tacked by the vi­cious dogs up­on en­ter­ing the se­cured premis­es of Jen­nifer Mar­tin Dale at Fifth Street, Barataria.A neigh­bour who was alert­ed by the man's screams con­tact­ed the Barataria Po­lice Sta­tion. Up­on vis­it­ing the home, the po­lice saw the man's life­less body in the yard.
