Police have alerted health institutions and private doctors to be on the lookout for a robbery suspect who may have been injured in a vehicular accident on Monday night in Gasparillo. The suspect was struck by the victim he had  just robbed of $40.  The incident occurred at around 9 pm, while Kenny Lee-Atting, 53, of Farnum Village, Williamsville, was plying his PH car for hire along the Marabella /Williamsville route.  Lee-Atting picked up a passenger at the  corner of Union Road, Marabella. Near Reform Village, Gasparillo, the man pointed a gun at him and demanded cash.

Lee-Atting handed over $40 and he was ordered to stop the vehicle. The man got out of the vehicle, all the time keeping the gun aimed at him. As he passed in front of the vehicle, Lee-Atting pressed the accelerator pedal, causing the car to move forward and strike the bandit.  The man fell to the ground but quickly got up and limped into some nearby bushes. Lee-Atting came out of the vehicle and found a pistol, with two rounds of ammunition, which he handed over to Gasparillo police.  Police searched the bushes but were unable to find the assailant. Investigations are         continuing.
