Thursday, April 28, 2011

A police sergeant is expected to appear in the San Fernando Magistrates’ Court today charged with two counts of statutory rape. The officer was detained over the weekend after a 15 year-old San Fernando student reported that he had sex with her. The 45 year-old officer, with 15 years service, was placed on an identification parades over the weekend. According to investigators the girl told a senior court official last week Wednesday that the officer, who had been assigned to a case involving a dispute between her and her mother, took her out and had sex with her. The incident was alleged to have taken place  at King’s Wharf, San Fernando.
