Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding ceremony will attract an estimated two billion people today. On November 20 1947, the future Queen of England, Elizabeth, married the Duke of Edinburgh, Philip. The wedding was broadcast on BBC Radio to 200 million people around the world. T&T viewers can tune in to CNC3 for live coverage of the event which begins at 4 am local time and 8.15 am GMT.
From 8.15 am (GMT) guests begin arriving at the Great North Door of London's Westminster Abbey. At 10.15 am (GMT) Princes William and Harry arrive at Westminster Abbey. Sixteen Caribbean leaders will be among the guests at the wedding. Neither T&T's Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar nor President Professor George Maxwell Richards were invited. However, T&T's High Commissioner to the UK, Garvin Nicholas, will represent T&T.
