Cabinet, in an unprecedented development yesterday, suspended its deliberations to allow members to attend the funeral service for the former MP for Diego Martin Central, Kenneth Valley. Valley, 63, died last week Friday after a prolonged battle with colon cancer. Sources said the Cabinet held Valley in high esteem and felt it was fitting and appropriate for matters of State to be suspended for some three hours yesterday to allow members to pay their last respects to the former government minister. The meeting resumed and went late yesterday.
