The Opposition PNM has called on the ruling PP to state the cost of printing and circulating the invitations and booklets on the Government's achievements which the PP has issued to supporters. A copy of the glossy, high colour booklet was issued to each supporter along with the letter of invitation, signed by the Prime Minister, to attend today's PP anniversary rally at Mid Centre Mall, Chaguanas. The 27-page booklet chronicles the PP's achievements in various areas from social development to infrastructural works.

PNM Port-of-Spain North MP Pat McIntosh has called on Government to say who specifically bore the cost of printing the booklets and letters, whether the state or otherwise. McIntosh sought details on the number of invitations and booklets published, how they were conveyed to supporters, whether postal or not, and the cost of that. She said the PP had campaigned on the basis of transparency and accountability and as such she was seeking information on the booklets. (GA)
