Farm­ers from var­i­ous sec­tors will be protest­ing out­side the Red House dur­ing to­day's Low­er House sit­ting, an ac­tion re­lat­ing to out­stand­ing is­sues from last month's de­struc­tion of their crops. Shi­raz Khan of the T&T Goat and Sheep Farm­ers' As­so­ci­a­tion said Cen­tral and D'Abadie farm­ers have not been ei­ther com­pen­sat­ed or re­lo­cat­ed fol­low­ing de­struc­tion of their crops last month by the Hous­ing De­vel­op­ment Cor­po­ra­tion (HDC). A land use pol­i­cy, which Gov­ern­ment last month promised to take to Cab­i­net in three weeks, re­mains un­ful­filled as well, Khan said. Farm­ers will con­gre­gate at Wood­ford Square op­po­site the Red House at 2 pm to­day, Khan said.
