Sports Ambassador and T&T Cricket captain Daren Ganga on Wednesday urged graduates of San Fernando TML (Trinidad Muslim League) Primary School to be wary when making choices as they embark on a new chapter in their academic lives. Ganga gave the advice as he delivered the feature address at the school's graduation ceremony on Wednesday. It was held at Imani Hall, Omardeen's Place, Cipero Street, San Fernando. Ganga advised the students, who would be embarking on secondary school education from September, to "be responsible and in control of your own behaviour."
"Make all decisions carefully everyday," Ganga urged as he congratulated the students on their achievements.
He reminded them to take all the values they had learnt at San Fernando TML and "treat others with respect, make the most of every opportunity, be honest to others and do what is right." Ganga told the students "never think that you are too small or young in age to make a difference. Don't stop trying for what you believe." The school's principal, Camille Hosein, lauded the pupils for their continued commitment to excellence and thanked parents for their support over the years. She stressed that the school continued to face the annual challenge for space. Mikyle A Mohammed copped the top student award, while Dilon R Maharaj was named overall student. Raveena Dwarika and Sadhana M Balladin shared the Murtuza Baksh challenge trophy for most disciplined students.
