Sports Am­bas­sador and T&T Crick­et cap­tain Daren Gan­ga on Wednes­day urged grad­u­ates of San Fer­nan­do TML (Trinidad Mus­lim League) Pri­ma­ry School to be wary when mak­ing choic­es as they em­bark on a new chap­ter in their aca­d­e­m­ic lives. Gan­ga gave the ad­vice as he de­liv­ered the fea­ture ad­dress at the school's grad­u­a­tion cer­e­mo­ny on Wednes­day. It was held at Imani Hall, Omardeen's Place, Cipero Street, San Fer­nan­do. Gan­ga ad­vised the stu­dents, who would be em­bark­ing on sec­ondary school ed­u­ca­tion from Sep­tem­ber, to "be re­spon­si­ble and in con­trol of your own be­hav­iour."

"Make all de­ci­sions care­ful­ly every­day," Gan­ga urged as he con­grat­u­lat­ed the stu­dents on their achieve­ments.

He re­mind­ed them to take all the val­ues they had learnt at San Fer­nan­do TML and "treat oth­ers with re­spect, make the most of every op­por­tu­ni­ty, be hon­est to oth­ers and do what is right." Gan­ga told the stu­dents "nev­er think that you are too small or young in age to make a dif­fer­ence. Don't stop try­ing for what you be­lieve." The school's prin­ci­pal, Camille Ho­sein, laud­ed the pupils for their con­tin­ued com­mit­ment to ex­cel­lence and thanked par­ents for their sup­port over the years. She stressed that the school con­tin­ued to face the an­nu­al chal­lenge for space. Mikyle A Mo­hammed copped the top stu­dent award, while Dilon R Ma­haraj was named over­all stu­dent. Raveena Dwari­ka and Sad­hana M Bal­ladin shared the Mur­tuza Baksh chal­lenge tro­phy for most dis­ci­plined stu­dents.
