A 12-year-old boy and a 51-year-old Span­ish na­tion­al will ap­pear be­fore an Ari­ma mag­is­trate to­day charged with pos­ses­sion of mar­i­jua­na and with co­caine for the pur­pose of traf­fick­ing re­spec­tive­ly. Po­lice said the boy was at his Arou­ca home when they made the ar­rest. Three oth­ers were held at the res­i­dence. In­ves­ti­ga­tors said the boy lived at the house where a quan­ti­ty of mar­i­jua­na was be­ing sold. Sev­er­al sticks and rolled joints were seized by of­fi­cers of the Or­gan­ised Crime, Nar­cotics and Firearms Bu­reau (OC­NFB).

In the oth­er in­ci­dent, the Span­ish na­tion­al said to be a fish­er­man, was ar­rest­ed at the Pi­ar­co In­ter­na­tion­al Air­port on Fri­day evening. OC­NFB of­fi­cers searched sev­er­al suit­cas­es be­long­ing to the sus­pect and seized four ki­los of pow­dered co­caine with an es­ti­mat­ed val­ue of $2 mil­lion. He was at­tempt­ing to board British Air­ways flight 2158 to Lon­don around 4.15 pm.
