Three Tunapuna residents remain warded at hospital after surviving an a attack by a group of masked gunmen early yesterday morning.Police say Richie Ramlakan, 21, Dillion Prince, 28 and Clevon Alexander, 31, were liming at Ramlakan's Achong Trace, Tunapuna, home when at around 1 am, a masked gunman kicked open the front door and began shooting at the men.
Police say in a bid to escape, the men attempted to flee through the back door where they were confronted by two more gunmen who opened fire on them.Neighbours who were alerted by the gunshots called the police as the gunmen fled the scene, leaving the victims lying in the house with wounds to the chest, back, and a wound to Alexander's eye.The victims were taken to Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex for emergency surgery and treatment. Tunapuna police are continuing investigations. (DA)
