Three Tu­na­puna res­i­dents re­main ward­ed at hos­pi­tal af­ter sur­viv­ing an a at­tack by a group of masked gun­men ear­ly yes­ter­day morn­ing.Po­lice say Richie Ram­lakan, 21, Dil­lion Prince, 28 and Clevon Alexan­der, 31, were lim­ing at Ram­lakan's Achong Trace, Tu­na­puna, home when at around 1 am, a masked gun­man kicked open the front door and be­gan shoot­ing at the men.

Po­lice say in a bid to es­cape, the men at­tempt­ed to flee through the back door where they were con­front­ed by two more gun­men who opened fire on them.Neigh­bours who were alert­ed by the gun­shots called the po­lice as the gun­men fled the scene, leav­ing the vic­tims ly­ing in the house with wounds to the chest, back, and a wound to Alexan­der's eye.The vic­tims were tak­en to Er­ic Williams Med­ical Sci­ences Com­plex for emer­gency surgery and treat­ment. Tu­na­puna po­lice are con­tin­u­ing in­ves­ti­ga­tions. (DA)
