Minister of the People and Social Development Dr Glenn Ramadharsingh has hailed the executive members of the Rotary Club of Port-of-Spain, heroes, for their role in the advocacy of children’s rights. “Men and women who have busy lives—professionally as well as personally—but still find the time to quietly work to make the world a better, healthier and safer place, are heroes and I salute you all,” he said. Ramadharsingh added: “Rotarians embody sheer positivity—the hope, the determination to bring  about change and the faith that simple actions can yield great results.”

He was speaking at the 54th handover ceremony of the Rotary Club of Port-of-Spain at the Queen’s Park Cricket Club on Tragarete Road which witnessed incoming president Lawrence Wilson take over from Patrick Grell.
