San­gre Grande CID are con­tin­u­ing in­ves­ti­ga­tions in­to a botched rob­bery yes­ter­day morn­ing in Va­len­cia in which three mem­bers of a fam­i­ly are re­ceiv­ing treat­ment for gun­shot wounds.Re­ports in­di­cate that around 4.15 am, Noor Ali, Sad­dick Ali and Shami­la Ali were awok­en as masked ban­dits stormed their home near St Al­bans Quar­ry off the Va­len­cia Main Road.Af­ter de­mand­ing mon­ey from the fam­i­ly, who are mar­ket ven­dors, the gun­men fired sev­er­al shots at them be­fore mak­ing good their es­cape with an undis­closed sum of cash.Each fam­i­ly mem­ber was shot twice. They were tak­en to the San­gre Grande Hos­pi­tal where they un­der­went emer­gency surgery and are said to be in sta­ble con­di­tion.Cpl Ju­nior Bernard of Va­len­cia CID and PC Khan of San­gre Grande CID are con­tin­u­ing in­ves­ti­ga­tions.
