A Point Fortin businessman is warded at the San Fernando General Hospital after he was shot during a robbery at his casino yesterday.Investigators said at around 10.30 am, Nicholas Corrie, 27, of Fanny Village, was at his business place, Zanilla's Casino, when two masked gunmen stormed in and accosted him. Corrie, who put up a struggle, was fired at by one of the gunmen. He was struck in his back. The gunmen then fled the scene without taking anything.Corrie was rushed to the Point Fortin District Hospital, then transferred to the San Fernando General Hospital where he is in stable condition.No arrests have yet been made. Investigations are continuing.
