A Point Fortin busi­ness­man is ward­ed at the San Fer­nan­do Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal af­ter he was shot dur­ing a rob­bery at his casi­no yes­ter­day.In­ves­ti­ga­tors said at around 10.30 am, Nicholas Cor­rie, 27, of Fan­ny Vil­lage, was at his busi­ness place, Zanil­la's Casi­no, when two masked gun­men stormed in and ac­cost­ed him. Cor­rie, who put up a strug­gle, was fired at by one of the gun­men. He was struck in his back. The gun­men then fled the scene with­out tak­ing any­thing.Cor­rie was rushed to the Point Fortin Dis­trict Hos­pi­tal, then trans­ferred to the San Fer­nan­do Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal where he is in sta­ble con­di­tion.No ar­rests have yet been made.
