A week­end camp­ing trip to Cau­ra Riv­er end­ed in tragedy af­ter a 23-year-old uni­ver­si­ty stu­dent drowned.Po­lice said around 10.30 am on Mon­day, Nicholas Ram­rat­tan, of Clax­ton Bay, told friends he was go­ing in­to the riv­er for a bath.Af­ter some time he had not re­turned and his friends mount­ed a search and found his body at the bot­tom of the riv­er around 2.30 pm.A post-mortem was sched­uled to be con­duct­ed at the Foren­sic Sci­ence in St James yes­ter­day.Tu­na­puna po­lice are con­tin­u­ing in­ves­ti­ga­tions.(DA)
