Two financial matters will occupy the attention of Members of Parliament at a siting which begins at 1.30 pm today.This as Finance Minister Winston Dookeran seeks approval of two motions, one to increase the legal limit for borrowing under the Guarantee of Loans (Companies) Act from $38 billion to $70 billion; and the second, to raise the limit for borrowing under the Development Loans Act from $20 billion to $30 billion.Meanwhile, former minister in the Ministry of Finance, Mariano Browne said it would be "a no no" to increase borrowing for recurrent expenditure.
