Rel­a­tives and po­lice are seek­ing as­sis­tance from the pub­lic in lo­cat­ing the where­abouts of a 15 year-old girl re­sid­ing in the Wood­brook area. The girl, Shoshan­na Louren­co, a Bish­op Cen­te­nary stu­dent has been miss­ing for over one month. Shoshan­na, who lives with her 86 year old great-aunt was last seen and heard from on Au­gust 7, when she sent her aunt a text mes­sage say­ing she was go­ing to the beach. A re­port was made to the Wood­brook Po­lice Sta­tion by rel­a­tives on Mon­day af­ter calls to her phone went unan­swered.

Rel­a­tives said they were des­per­ate­ly hop­ing she was alive and just stay­ing with a friend. Shoshan­na had dis­ap­peared in Ju­ly for a pe­ri­od of three weeks but re­turned home with the ex­cuse that she had been stay­ing with friends. Rel­a­tives sus­pect she might be in the Mar­aval area. Con­sta­ble Sealy of the Wood­brook Po­lice Sta­tion con­firmed that a re­port was made but no progress had been made on the girl's where­abouts.
