Relatives and police are seeking assistance from the public in locating the whereabouts of a 15 year-old girl residing in the Woodbrook area. The girl, Shoshanna Lourenco, a Bishop Centenary student has been missing for over one month. Shoshanna, who lives with her 86 year old great-aunt was last seen and heard from on August 7, when she sent her aunt a text message saying she was going to the beach. A report was made to the Woodbrook Police Station by relatives on Monday after calls to her phone went unanswered.
Relatives said they were desperately hoping she was alive and just staying with a friend. Shoshanna had disappeared in July for a period of three weeks but returned home with the excuse that she had been staying with friends. Relatives suspect she might be in the Maraval area. Constable Sealy of the Woodbrook Police Station confirmed that a report was made but no progress had been made on the girl's whereabouts.
