Two people who were arrested on Saturday in Valencia, were up to late yesterday, being questioned in connection with the quadruple murder in Jonestown on August 18. The 25-year-old man and his 22-year-old girlfriend were held during a police exercise at Balisier Street. A child who was also at the house was handed over to relatives. A loaded glock, bullet proof vests, assorted ammunition, stolen vehicles, police and regiment uniforms, a rifle scope and a computer with sensitive material were seized by the police.
The firearms will be taken for ballistic tests to determine if they were used to commit the quadruple murder. On August 18, Tony Brusco, 50, of Mausica Lands, Lester Mollino, 37, of Sanchez Street, Arima, Keyon Boldon, 23, of De Gannes Street, Arima, and Kern "Pinchers" Mitchell of Mayaro were killed by gunmen at Mausica Lands. Police said two men at a shop pretended to ask for directions before they opened fire on the group. Several other people who were at the scene also received injuries.
