A post mortem on the body of busi­ness­man Ken­neth Ra­jen­dra Singh, who was found dead at Cam­den Road, Cou­va, on Sat­ur­day morn­ing, in­di­cat­ed that he was run over by a ve­hi­cle. Ini­tial­ly it had been sug­gest­ed that Singh, 46, of Main Road, Ch­agua­nas, had been blud­geoned to death.How­ev­er, the post mortem by Dr Va­lerie Alexan­drov at the Foren­sic Sci­ence Cen­tre, St James, re­vealed he died of in­ter­nal haem­or­rhag­ing, con­sis­tent with be­ing run over by a ve­hi­cle. There were tyre marks on his cloth­ing and skin, ac­cord­ing to Alexan­drov.

It was not­ed: "He sus­tained mul­ti­ple frac­tures, in­dica­tive of be­ing run over on the chest. All the ribs in his body were frac­tured. "He had a frac­tured pelvic bone and a frac­tured spine. He al­so had a crushed liv­er, along with ex­ter­nal bod­i­ly abra­sions due to the body's move­ment on the rough sur­face." So far po­lice have not ar­rest­ed any­one in con­nec­tion with Singh's death. It was re­port­ed that short­ly be­fore his death Singh went to a guest house with a woman. How­ev­er, po­lice said they were yet to iden­ti­fy the woman. In­ves­ti­ga­tions are con­tin­u­ing.
