The Min­istry of Works and In­fra­struc­ture has put tem­po­rary traf­fic al­le­vi­a­tion mea­sures in place in Diego Mar­tin with ef­fect from yes­ter­day to Oc­to­ber 20 on week­days be­tween 2.30 pm to 6 pm. Mo­torists and res­i­dents are ad­vised of the fol­low­ing:

• cus­tomers wish­ing to en­ter Star­lite Shop­ping Plaza will not be al­lowed to queue be­yond the en­trance on the Diego Mar­tin Main Road; ve­hi­cles queu­ing be­yond this point will be in­struct­ed to use the ex­it/en­trance along Morne Co­co Road;

• both ex­its from Star­lite Shop­ping Plaza on­to Diego Mar­tin Main Road will be closed. Pa­trons would be re­quired to use the ex­it/en­trance along Morne Co­co Road;

• the ex­it from NP (Star­lite Shop­ping Plaza) to the Diego Mar­tin Main Road will be closed. Pa­trons will be re­quired to use the ex­it along Ridge­wood Tow­ers Road;

• no stop­ping/wait­ing on lanes will be al­lowed (max­is, taxis, goods or pri­vate ve­hi­cles);

• no il­le­gal road­side vend­ing will be al­lowed; and

• traf­fic war­dens will be sta­tioned at key lo­ca­tions along the Four Roads Main Road to as­sist with di­rect­ing traf­fic.
