The Ch­agua­nas Bor­ough Cor­po­ra­tion has re­ceived its long-await­ed ad­min­is­tra­tive com­plex. The an­nounce­ment was made yes­ter­day by May­or Or­lan­do Nages­sar in an in­ter­view af­ter yes­ter­day's mil­i­tary pa­rade through the streets of Ch­agua­nas. The cel­e­bra­tion marked 20 years since Ch­agua­nas had been de­clared a bor­ough. Nages­sar said more than 1,000 keys were hand­ed over to the bor­ough to the new $70 mil­lion build­ing.

He said em­ploy­ees would not be mov­ing over to the new site in a hur­ry be­cause there were still some is­sues of fur­ni­ture need­ed to be sort­ed out. He said these is­sues would be sort­ed out in the com­ing weeks. The may­or had been clam­our­ing for the new build­ing since the Gov­ern­ment came in­to pow­er. The build­ing was blessed on Sat­ur­day dur­ing an in­ter-re­li­gious ser­vice. De­spite yes­ter­day's in­clement weath­er, mil­i­tary pa­rade in Mon­trose went ahead as sched­uled.
