PNM activist Dane Wilson has said he and the PNM were "attacked" in a Facebook exchange with Aditya, the son of Foreign Affairs and Communications Minister Suruj Rambachan. The private exchange-which Wilson has produced verbatim-has been posted in the PNM's Facebook group on the Internet. Wilson said the younger Rambachan initiated the exchange. Wilson said he believed it was prompted by a Internet posting he had done last week disputing Rambachan senior's statements about the PNM. He said he, however, received a posting from the younger Rambachan last Sunday in an exchange which, he pointed out, included a racist description of the PNM and derogatory comments.
Wilson added: "I'm disgusted at what he called the PNM. That speaks volumes for the Government of which his father is a part. "It contradicts what the Government preaches and gives credibility to things people have said about some in PP." Yesterday, Aditya said he was angered by Wilson's calling his father a liar and had a private exchange with him. However, he said he apologised to Wilson yesterday for acting in haste and anger. Wilson confirmed Aditya texted him yesterday.
