A second suspect has been detained in connection with the murder of Point Fortin father Wayne Carrington. The 35-year-old man was held at his Beach Road, Palo, Seco home during anticrime operations over the weekend. Homicide detectives along with the South Western CID went to the house where they found the suspect. Police said they also found a loaded revolver. Investigating officers said they were also looking for the suspect's brother who is also wanted in connection with another murder.
On Friday, the first suspect was arrest with a quantity of cocaine. On September 25, Carrington, who police said was a drug dealer, was shot dead at his home at Reservoir Hill. He was approached by three men. One of the them whipped out a gun and shot him once in the chest.
