Hyatt Regency Trinidad is once again supporting Cancer Awareness month by flying pink flags on its flagpoles at the entrance to the hotel and by also displaying a pink strip of light on its building. "We are committed to assist in the fight against cancer," says general manager Russell George, "and again this year we have continued the pink flags and lights for the month of October, to further highlight the efforts and increase cancer awareness." For the past three years, the hotel has collaborated with and supported the Trinidad and Tobago Cancer Society and the Cancer Treatment Foundation in their various fund-raising activities.
In addition, Hyatt Regency Trinidad is also donating to the Cancer Society and the Foundation, 20 per cent of its sales of Afternoon Tea as well as 20 per cent of sales of selected treatments at Spa Esencia. In partnership with the Trinidad and Tobago Cancer Society the hotel will again host 50 cancer survivors to breakfast this month.
