The 2012 Mu­sic Fes­ti­val will take place at Queen's Hall, Port-of-Spain. The Fes­ti­val is usu­al­ly held in Feb­ru­ary, but there has been grow­ing anx­i­ety of a post­pone­ment. How­ev­er, or­gan­is­ers have been work­ing fever­ish­ly to get the syl­labus out. Af­ter that, reg­is­tra­tion no­tices will be cir­cu­lat­ed.

Next year's fes­ti­val promis­es to be brighter than the noon-day sun in all cat­e­gories. In the most re­cent­ly in­tro­duced cat­e­go­ry, the Pan Song, there is a toss-up be­tween The Mighty Duke's Harps of Gold and Ja­son 'Peanuts' Isaac's Pan Re­demp­tion. Vo­cal­ists will vie for the Elaine An­der­son Chal­lenge Tro­phy. The last Fes­ti­val was held in 2010, and was sup­port­ed by bpTT, Sco­tia­bank and TTEC.
