Law­men are soon to re­ceive re­sults of tests con­duct­ed on av­o­ca­dos be­lieved to have been poi­soned.Last week, a Tu­na­puna farmer al­leged that he poi­soned thou­sands of av­o­ca­dos af­ter thieves had been raid­ing his 30-acre es­tate at Madoo Hill, El Do­ra­do.De­tec­tives said the farmer came to the sta­tion and gave a state­ment.

Sev­er­al of the fruit al­leged to have been stolen were re­cov­ered and tak­en to the Foren­sic Sci­ence Cen­tre for test­ing. The file was re­ferred to the Of­fice of the Di­rec­tor of Pub­lic Pros­e­cu­tions for fur­ther di­rec­tion.Tu­na­puna po­lice are con­tin­u­ing in­ves­ti­ga­tions.
