A pris­ons of­fi­cer and a St Au­gus­tine babysit­ter were re­mand­ed in­to cus­tody yes­ter­day when they ap­peared in court charged with pos­ses­sion of mar­i­jua­na pos­ses­sion. Za­wa­di Hen­ry 31, of Plai­sance Park Clax­ton Bay and Re­nee Clarke For­tune 36, ap­peared be­fore Mag­is­trate Ava­son Quin­lan in the Cha­gau­nas Third Court. The two were charged with pos­ses­sion of mar­i­jua­na for the pur­pose of traf­fick­ing. It is al­leged that both Hen­ry and Clarke For­tune were caught with the drug at Price Plaza Ch­agua­nas on Thurs­day af­ter­noon. Quin­lan re­mand­ed both in­to cus­tody to Mon­day.
