As police continue the search for missing Princes Town mother Kellyann Seerattan, several reports were made by people who claimed they have seen her. However, investigators said none of these reports have led to the 25-year-old who has been missing since November 3. Seerattan's mother Susan said one person contacted her saying that they had information but requested a $500 phone card. The grieving mother said she passed the information on to the police but no further leads were given to her.
A senior investigator into the matter said people have been calling to report seeing Kellyann in west Trinidad and Port-of-Spain: "We would have called our people; the Anti Kidnapping Squad (AKS) was contacted and they checked out all the reports. However, some of them were hoaxes. Some one would have reported seeing her in the West in some maxi taxi. Somebody in Central said they saw her by a car surrounded by people. We have a big team working with the Homicide and AKS, every day officers are working on this." He said people were interviewed several times and their houses were searched as well. Kellyann's boyfriend Kerwyn Nimchand said yesterday, that following the reports of people seeing her, they were printing flyers to distribute to the public.
