A 21-year-old Ja­maican woman was up to late yes­ter­day un­der po­lice guard fol­low­ing her ar­rest at the Pi­ar­co In­ter­na­tion­al Air­port.A re­port said on Sat­ur­day around 7 pm, the woman of Pep­per Dis­trict, St Eliz­a­beth, was a pas­sen­ger on board flight BW 417 from Ja­maica to Trinidad.

Of­fi­cers of the Or­gan­ised Crime, Firearms and Nar­cotics Bu­reau took the woman in­to cus­tody and took her to the Er­ic Williams Med­ical Sci­ences Com­plex for an X-ray.She was tak­en to the hos­pi­tal where she ex­cret­ed 42 pel­lets of mar­i­jua­na, de­tec­tives said.In­ves­ti­ga­tions are con­tin­u­ing.
