Moru­ga po­lice are af­ter two sus­pects in the re­port­ed gang rape of a 17-year-old Siparia girl ear­ly yes­ter­day.Po­lice say the vic­tim was hang­ing out at Joint's Bar at Basse Terre, Moru­ga around 3 am when a man she knows of­fered to drop her to a friend's home. The teenag­er left the bar with the man and his male friend.

The men took the teen to a se­clud­ed area where they took turns in hav­ing sex with the teenag­er against her will.The girl made a re­port to the Moru­ga po­lice and was med­ical­ly ex­am­ined by a doc­tor.PC Ram­lo­gan of the Moru­ga po­lice sta­tion is con­tin­u­ing in­ves­ti­ga­tions.

Mean­while, in a sep­a­rate in­ci­dent, po­lice ar­rest­ed a 39-year-old labour­er for al­leged­ly hav­ing sex­u­al in­ter­course with his15-year-old step-daugh­ter.The girl told a teacher about the abuse. Po­lice lat­er in­ter­viewed the teenag­er who said be­tween Jan­u­ary 26 and this month, the man has been forc­ing her in­to lewd sex acts at their Mara­bel­la home.

The teen was med­ical­ly ex­am­ined.Mara­bel­la po­lice are con­tin­u­ing in­ves­ti­ga­tions.
