T&T's top riders Hadley Rahael and Adelle Stollmeyer will be looking to top their respective categories as the T&T Equestrian Association host its final show-jumping event on Sunday, at the Hidden Valley Stables, Santa Cruz, from 10 am.T&T's best equestrians will vie for the coveted annual Super League Rider of the Year titles. The competition takes place over four legs throughout the year, and each leg contains three classes: the low (junior & senior), middle and high leagues.
As the legs of the competition progress, so do the heights of the jumps within the height range of each class. After the fourth and final leg, the horse and rider pair with the most points in each level is declared the Rider of the Year of that level.In the low league juniors, Rahael is currently in the lead, while Sandhya Moll is the current leader for the low league seniors.
The mid league is more competitive, this being the group with the largest number of entries. After three legs, Adelle Stollmeyer on Amigo Mio leads with 290 points, Charlotte Morrison is second on Alfie Meh Boy with 280 points and Mariel Lanser riding Rhapsody is third with 200 points. The most skilled jumping will be seen in the high league, and Sandhya Moll will try to maintain her lead on Majestic 7. She currently has 230 points but Stephen Degheldere is sure to be close on her heels with A Great Team.
