The Pub­lic Trans­port Ser­vice Cor­po­ra­tion (PTSC) yes­ter­day signed a Mem­o­ran­dum of Agree­ment with the Pub­lic Ser­vice As­so­ci­a­tion (PSA) for a five per cent wage in­crease. The sign­ing cer­e­mo­ny took place at the PTSC hub, South Quay, Port-of-Spain. The agree­ment is for an in­crease in salary and Cost of Liv­ing Al­lowance dis­trib­uted at two per cent in 2008, one per cent in 2009 and two per cent in 2010. Chair­man of the PSA (PTSC) branch, Dar­ryl Lamy, said a uni­lat­er­al de­ci­sion, which was made by pre­vi­ous man­age­ment, to stop the range scale in salaries was stopped. He said the PSA ac­cept­ed the five per cent to cre­ate the struc­ture and con­sol­i­date the CO­LA.
